SHARK ATTACK and OTHER MISHAPS

Artemis Arts Library. 2019

ISBN 978-0-9746927-4-6

Paperback: 160 pages

Shopping Lessons book cover

I was heading for the shore, hoping to outswim the shark. Realizing that the shark could follow and outswim me, I began swimming slowly and methodically toward the beach while terror roiled in my belly.

Several minutes later, injured and rolling in the swells, helpless and bleeding, while the surf kept pushing me back, I finally got a foothold with my injured leg on the sand at the water’s edge. “Help, shark! Help me!” I yelled.

A group of people heard my call, but they walked past me when they saw me in the surf yards to their right. I overheard one say to another, “Tourists who are in the water shouldn’t yell like that about sharks. They frighten other tourists.”

SHOPPING LESSONS

ISBN-10: 0974692751
ISBN-13: 978-0974692753

Paperback: 212 pages

Shopping Lessons book cover

Shopping was one of the few excursions Mrs. Perlman and her daughter were hard-wired to perform with civility. Almost everything else evoked the white rage of competition. But life got far more complex when Mr. Perlman became fatally ill, and his son’s disturbed wife suddenly committed suicide. Shopping Lessons, a coming-of-age novel, looks at the price a woman pays for growing into herself.

Reviews:
Only a few pages into Shopping Lessons, I knew I was in good hands. Maybe it's because the truth–not necessarily the literal but always the literary truth–shines through on every page. I can't imagine any reader not enjoying and learning from this story of love and transformation.

SEARCHING FOR THE G SPOT

ISBN: 0-974627-6-X

Paperback: 212 pages

Searching for the G-Spot bookcover

Searching For The G Spot is a comedy about a baby boomer marriage on the verge of divorce. In a final desperate attempt, the wife tries to save their marriage by getting away from their high-powered careers. Impulsively, she signs them up for a Tantric Sex Workshop in the Virgin Islands. There Ralph and Paula Neuman attempt to renew the sparkle in their sex lives.

Some of the characters they meet are a naughty gynecologist, a Brazilian psychic healer on the lam, an ambitious colonic therapist, a husband-hunting spiritualist, an ex-taxi cab-driving guru, and a naïve millionaire rancher. All these people are in competition to find their sexual and spiritual G Spot.

The novel inspires couples to transform their marriage with a sexual tune-up while getting a hearty belly laugh.
